Warm weather and big smiles greeted the 18 Coaches from Thailand, Denmark, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the host country who took part in the recently concluded FINA Clinic for Synchronized Swimming Coaches (beginner to intermediate level) in Manila,Philippines from May 1-10, 2013. 
High Performance Development Coach and Consultant, Ms. Leslie Sproule from Canada shared her valuable knowledge to the coaches and athletes as well. The course was divided into theory (lectures) and practice (pool training with athletes). The participants were very active learners and performed group tasks very enthusiastically.The ten-day clinic was a great success, with all participants showing enthusiasm and willingness to learn. and ready to teach the knowledge they learned back in this country/home towns.

The 1st Sun Smart International SS Competition kicks off at Challenge Stadium with Figure Events in the morning and afterwards the Opening Ceremony. We have the Routine Events followed by Closing Ceremony. Competitors are represented by swimmers from NSW, Queensland, Singapore, Perth and Philippines.

Our year's firstfruit: Synchronized Swimming Philippines performed at Abellana National High School and Holiday Gym and Spa. We face 2013 with grim determination to spread the sport we love through out the Philippines.

As a year ender activity, Synchronized Swimming Philippines conducted the first local coaches clinic . Coach Mandy Gandin came to help us teach the local coaches with the basic body positions for synchronized swimming.

Synchronized Swimming Philippines competed in the 1st Southeast Asian Swimming Championships 2012 which  aims to foster relationships among the Southeast Asia aquatic community and to provide an opportunity to engage in  competition at the Southeast Asian level.
